We Believe

Deep down most of us know that our lives are broken.

Life just isn't the way it should be and our relationships don't work the way we want them to.

The Bible says the reason for this is because we've all left God behind and deliberately kept him right out of the picture.

It's what the Bible calls sin. And it means that God is angry at us.

But roughly 2,000 years ago God sent his own Son into the world, the God-man Jesus Christ. He lived a perfect life, but he died a sinner's death. He faced God's anger at sin even though he never sinned.

But then God raised him from the dead so that everyone who trusts in him might be forgiven, have eternal life, and live now for him in every way.

There's no getting around it: the Bible is an old, old book. And the story that it tells goes back a long way. But you boil it all down and this is what it's about. And we are convinced that this message is as relevant for people in Sydney today as the daily newspaper.
