Richard and Lisa Cho
We are part of a new OMF church planting team in the city of Lampang in North Thailand. The team's vision is to see a movement of indigenous biblical house churches in Lampang. Our ministry is split between helping the team in church planting and continuing our language studies. We hope to see a house church started in Lampang before the end of our first term in Thailand in December 2010. To read about the Cho's adventures go here Matthew and Samantha Archer
Matthew and Samantha Archer are working with CMS in Bunda, Tanzania. CMS works in Tanzania in partnership with the Anglican Church of Tanzania. Matthew oversees the TEE (Theological Education by Extension) program in the southern part of the Diocese. This consists of approximately 15 groups where pastors and lay leaders meet in their various villages to study the bible in small groups each week, as well as completing course work throughout the week in their homes. Matthew and Samantha are also involved in their local church at Nyasura where Matthew preaches and leads services and Samantha teaches Sunday school. The children are home schooled during the week by Samantha. The family is thankful to God for the opportunity to live, work and serve in Tanzania and ask for prayer for continued guidance in all they do and say in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. However, for the rest of 2009 and into 2010, Jodi will be based in the Gulf Region thinking about the possibility of serving there longer term and seeing if there are ways in which she can serve and encourage the ministry that is already happening.
